Comedy Dave is not particularly happy with the way he looks and is surprised he’s a sex symbol

Radio 1’s Comedy Dave Vitty posed in his pants for Now and the 36-year-old gave us all his Dancing On Ice gossip.

Are you gutted you and skating partner Frankie Poultney couldn’t pretend to have a fauxmance to keep you on the show?

We were thinking of releasing a press release to say we officially weren’t knobbing and had no plans to be knobbing in the future.

Did you believe that Sam and Brianne were a couple?

Based on body language it seemed like they were – and now it seems like they’re not.

It’s the Lycra, isn’t it? That’s why they all get so close?

Yeah! It’s a combination of Lycra, grabbing intimate places, being away from home and boredom.

So are they all at it like rabbits?

If they are, I haven’t seen it. The papers just want a story. Between training sessions we’d sometimes stop off at a Toby Carvery for a sandwich and that could look like something if you wanted it to.

We bet you won’t miss Jason Gardiner’s bitchy comments.

He overstepped the mark with Karen Barber but he’s apologised. The show needs characters and that’s what he’s employed to be.
