    Ken Kuranchie

Yours truly pities Ken Kuranchie so much regarding his penchant for creating confusion in the minds of the people of this country by publishing total untruths. No wonder, the Daily Post newspaper has given him, Order Of The Star Of The Vulture’ the highest award in his kind of endeavour.
What are Ken and his newspaper saying this time? According to Ken, the NDC government has given cars to journalists in a bid to buy their conscience. This is total rubbish!
You see folks, if you are not sure about something, the least you can do, especially as a journalist, is to seek knowledge on it in order not to go exposing your ignorance. But this tenet can apply only to those who are sincere with the public and have respect for them.
Clearly, Ken has not a modicum of respect for the Ghanaian public and that is why he mischievously keeps using his Searchlight newspaper to throw ‘NPP dust’ into their eyes almost on a daily basis.
It is true that journalists have bought, and I mean bought Hyundai i10 cars from MASLOC.
Ken Kuranchie knows too well that those cars were not given to the journalists free of charge. The point to take note of also is that journalists were not the only category of people who were given the opportunity by MASLOC to buy these cars.
If Ken Kuranchie does not know, yours truly is educating him that nurses, teachers and other professionals also had the opportunity to buy these Hyundai i10 cars after they duly applied for them just like the journalists did.
So the issue is simple. Fine let’s give the vulture award man the benefit of the doubt and say he did not know. But if Ken Kuranchie did not intend being mischievous, why did he not enquire from MASLOC as to what arrangement was put in place regarding the sale of the Hyundai i10 cars to these categories of people?
One can see what Ken Kuranchie, as usual, is trying to portray. That the situation of bribing pro-NPP journalists like himself and showering them with all kinds of largesse as pertained under the Kufuor-led NPP government still persists under the Mills administration. That is a big fat lie.
Ken Kuranchie needs to be educated that the list of journalists, teachers, nurses and all who bought these cars cuts across the political divide in line with President Mills’ father for all policy.
Ken Kuranchie should stop exposing his mischievous ignorance for once. Isn’t he pitiful?
