Budding striker Dominic Adiyiah has confessed he has been “flat” over the past year ever since he took on the world at the U-20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009.
The 21-year-old was adjudged the Best Player of the tournament and the top goal scorer. He immediately attracted AC Milan scouts and went on a loan with Italian second tier side Reginna.
His performance has gone down ever since and the striker is yearning to revive his career with a six-month loan move to Partizan Belgrade.
“I hoped my career will keep going up after the 2009 Championships but I have had a flat period and this move should be a stepping stone for me,” the Ghanaian as quoted by KickoffGhana.com
The former Hearts of Lions forward joins another Ghanaian marksman Prince Tagoe at the Serbian side. He said of him, “I was overjoyed to hear Tagoe is here because we have always had a good relationship and his presence will make it much easier for me.”
