The technical team of the national U-23 team, the Black Meteors are to meet the management committee to draft a program ahead of the qualification series for the 2012 Olympic Games.
The team would be involved in a new format of qualification where a mini-tournament would be used rather than a home-and-away format to select Africa’s representation for the London games.
“We will be engaged in a mini-tournament of eight teams in two groups – four each,” confirmed management chairman Randy Abbey.
“As at now, we will meet the new technical team on Friday to fashion out a program before the qualification series starts.”
