Argentine forward, Carlos Tevez
Milan have provided an update to the ongoing Carlos Teves and Alexandre Pato saga by confirming Pato will not be moving while Tevez is the only player they are waiting for.
Despite having agreed personal terms with the Argentine forward, Manchester City has remained reluctant in giving into the Rossoneri’s bid of a loan. The Citizens would prefer a full bought out contract.
Vice-President Adriano Galliani spoke to Milan Channel on Wednesday: “We’re just waiting for the negotiations for Tevez to unblock.
“We’ve decided to forget about other options, including Maxi Lopez of Catania, because we only want Tevez.
“He has said that he wants to leave City and he’ll only do so to come here to Milan.
“If a player arrives then it will be a top world class one, otherwise we won’t be making any signings,” concluded the transfer guru.
Meanwhile, rumours about a possible departure for Pato to PSG have been in full swing – forcing Galliani to shut down all talk of a Brazilian departure.
“There is no negotiation going on with Paris Saint-Germain for Pato,” he underlined.
“There has been no contact with the player and none between us and PSG. There is no truth in it. I’ve been trying to tell the newspapers as much, but they don’t believe me.”
The rumours of the 22-year-old have since come around after the player stated that his relationship with coach Massimiliano Allegri is not as ideal as the one he had with, now new coach of PSG, Carlo Ancelotti.
