Enyimba forward Kalu Uche is set to move to Wydad Casablanca in the Moroccan league. Uche, 25, was instrumental to Enyimba’s semi-final finish during last season’s Caf Champions League campaign.
He is expected to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Moroccan side, who were runners up in the African Champions League, losing to Esperance Tunis in the final.
“‘I’m happy to join a big team like Wydad. I’m confident that my career will receive a boost at the club,” Kalu told SuperSport.
He was in a long list of players named for the Caf Africa-based player of the year award in November.
