Goal : AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has revealed that Filippo Inzaghi is no longer training with the club’s first team.
The 38-year-old striker has been relegated to the club’s periphery, making just three appearances to date this season as he finds himself behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Alexandre Pato and Stephan El Shaarawy in the pecking order at San Siro.
Earlier in the month, Inzaghi had suggested that he could stay at Milan, with the veteran hitman setting his sights on the record for the all-time leading goalscorer in Uefa competitions.
However, Allegri believes that Inzaghi has no place in the team, telling Sky Sport 24: “I am sorry for him.
