Luanda — Angola’s senior males football team might play two more control games before departing for Malabo, for their participation in the African Nations Cup (CAN-2012), set for Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, from next January, ANGOP has learnt.

This was announced by the deputy chairman of the Angola Football Federation (FAA) for international affairs, João Lusevikueno, who added that the opponent teams can be Nigeria or South Africa, as well as Togo or Mozambique.

He said that the games may be held abroad, but the second stage of the training programme will take place in Angola and not in Brazil as it was previously scheduled.

João Lusevikueno also said that the training period will take place in the northern Cabinda Province because its climate is similar to that one of Malabo, the city in which Angola will play in the first stage of CAN2012.
