Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko chief, Kennedy ‘Capo’ Agyepong, has stormed the Garden City in order to grace the Kuffuor Testimonial Match scheduled for today December 23, 2011.

Ex-Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffuor calls time on his illustrious career today at the Baba Yara Stadium in a match which soccer legends and stars like Lothar Mathaeus, Oliver Kahn, Andy Cole, Rigobert Song, and Raymond Kalla among others are expected to feature in.

DAILY GUIDE SPORTS gathered that Kennedy ‘Capo’ Agyepong emplaned to Kumasi last night to be a part of the grand ceremony.

A source close to the former Kotoko chief told the paper, “As a lover of soccer, Capo had followed the illustrious career of Osei Kuffuor since the player’s under-17 days; and he thinks we must all show our love at the twilight of his career.

“It is against this background that he took time off his busy schedule to fly to Kumasi to grace the occasion,” the source added.

It would be recalled that Kennedy Agyepong lend his support to the K.K. Sarpong led management of Kotoko recently, pledging to pick the bill any time the Porcupine Warriors travel out of the Garden City.

He also promised the club a whopping sum of GH¢25,000 if they win this year’s Glo Premier League.

Kennedy Agyepong is the CEO of Kenpong Constructions, a civil engineering company that specializes in the laying of fibre-optic cables and copper.
