Uíge — The governor of the northern Uíge province, Paulo Pombolo, guaranteed last Monday in this city a sustainable investment for state media organs, so as to improve the working conditions of their professionals.
Paulo Pombolo said so during a meeting with professionals of National Radio of Angola (RNA), Angolan Public Television (TPA), Angola Press Agency (Angop-EP) and Angolan daily newspaper (Jornal de Angola) to thank for the efforts made by these media organs and also learn about their main difficulties for possible solutions.
However, the official guaranteed that in 2012 some investments will be made in terms of technical equipment, vehicles, training of cadres, as well as the construction of TPA Production Centre and the installation of new aerials of RNA.
He recognised that the local journalists have been working hard to inform the population about various matters happening in the region, as well as the development of province recorded in the last years.
Regarding Angop-EP, the governor said that there are good references by the work done by this organ, securing total support for its well functioning.
