Jordan Opoku
DEFENDING LEAGUE Champions Berekum Chelsea has almost landed former Kotoko Captain Jordan Opoku.
Talks between the two parties have been successful so far, Nana Oduro Sarfo, an official of Berekum Chelsea, said on radio.
He said if everything goes on as planned then Jordan would put pen on paper to become Chelsea player in the coming days.
Jordan is reported to have been training with Berekum Chelsea ever since he returned to the country from abroad.
Initially there were reports that Berekum Chelsea and Jordan were finding it difficult to settle on the amount to change hands for a deal to be signed.
But Mr. Oduro Sarfo, who would not comment on the financial details of the talks, said all was set for Jordan to become a Chelsea player.
He however did not disclose the duration of the contract that Chelsea had tabled before the player.
