Zambia coach Herve Renard has maintained that he will return to Angola for Sunday’s friendly with no ill feelings towards his former team. Renard was briefly in charge of Angola in 2010 after he signed a two-year deal but was at the helm for only five months.

“I don’t feel anything,” Renard said in a post-training interview at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka as he prepared for a return to Angola with his new team.”The only thing I feel is that I’m very happy to be in Zambia. I’m always very happy to work with the Zambian players and that is what is important.”

Meanwhile, Zambia arrived in Angola on a chartered flight and head to the North-Eastern town of Doudo where the match against fellow 2012 Africa Cup of Nations finalists Angola will be played.

Renard has taken a 20-man team for Sunday’s friendly to be played in Dundo. Both Zambia and Angola are using this game to prepare for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations. The Chipolopolo are drawn in Group A along with co-hosts Equatorial Guinea, Senegal and Libya

Meanwhile Zambian striker Jonas Sakuwaha is out of action for the next two weeks after a knee injury. According to reports from the Chipolopolo camp the Al Merreikh player sustained the injury in Sudan and for now he is unable to train. The 2011 Sudan league golden boot winner with 19 goals is making his return to the Zambia squad since 2009.

Sakuwaha will miss Zambia’s friendly away to Angola on Sunday. The match will be played in the North-Eastern town of Doudo on the Angola-DR Congo border.
