Luanda — The North American singer Kelly Rowland said Saturday, in Luanda, that she intends to learn to sing and dance the Angolan Kuduro (music and dance), during her stay in Angola.
The US artist is in Luanda since last Friday for a concert on Sunday, in the ambit of the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the mobile phone company Unitel.
She said she likes Kuduro and would like to learn to sing this Angolan style, having also confirmed that this music is now listen to outside Angola, mainly the songs of the singer Nagrelha, from the Lambas band.
She defended the need for constant exchange of experiences, in the artistic and musical fields, between local and foreign artists.
The mobile phone company Unitel will organise on Sunday, in Luanda’s Coqueiros Stadium, a music concert to celebrate its tenth anniversary, whose line-up includes, besides Kelly Rowland, the US artists Ne-Yo and Ludacris, as well as the Angolan singers Anselmo Ralph, Yola Araújo, Adi Cudz, Big Nelo, Zona 5 and Canícia.
