Bié — The Supreme Court Chief Justice, Cristiano André, is since Thursday in Kuito City, central Bié Province, for a two-day working visit, meant to learn about the functioning of the local justice organs, ANGOP has learnt.
In Kuito, Cristiano André spoke about the existence of control centres of minors in conflict with the law, since many times after committing a crime the minors are released due to lack of place to keep them under watch.
The Chief Justice also spoke about the overcrowding of the Bié province central prison.
Cristiano André has also been to Huambo Province for the same purpose.
