Goal :    Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has revealed that David Beckham may not sign with the current French Ligue 1 leaders as it has emerged that his current club, the Los Angeles Galaxy, have made an effort to keep him in MLS.

It had been widely suggested that Beckham would be interested in returning to Europe once his current five-year deal with the LA Galaxy expires on Saturday. However, Beckham’s reluctance to leave Los Angeles, where he has raised four children since moving from Real Madrid in 2007, could mean staying put in the United States.

Also, according to the BBC, Beckham and his advisors have been impressed with Galaxy’s determination to re-sign their marquee player and their offer of a one-year rolling deal.

“We’ve never said that it’s done with him,” Leonardo said. “We have a very good rapport, but I don’t know if that will work with David Beckham.

“For him, this is a familiar choice. He is in LA. He’s with his family. He must spend time there to reflect on his personal life, but nothing is done. I don’t know what he’ll do.”
