The Turkish Football Federation’s (TFF) Ethics Committee had reportedly found that Fenerbahce tried to influence the outcome of five games during last season’s victorious Super Lig campaign.

On Monday, the Turkish daily Sabah published what it claims is the group’s report on the match-fixing scandal which has rocked the country’s football landscape.

It is claimed that one of the games that Fenerbahce tried to fix was their 4-3 victory over Sivasspor on the final day of last season.

According to the leaked report, the club also offered financial incentives to sides playing against their title rivals, Trabzonspor and Bursaspor, on six separate occasions.

The Ethics Committee were charged with analysing all of the evidence accrued by prosecutors as part of their investigation into match-fixing within the Turkish game and submitted their final report on August 15.

However, their findings were not made public and instead passed on to the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee only for the TFF to then announce that no action – if any – would be taken against those involved until the end of the season.
