Luanda — The secretary-general of the Women’s Organisation of Sao Tome and Principe, Maria das Neves de Sousa, congratulated on Saturday in Luanda her Angolan counterpart for the socialisation activity promoted to celebrate with elderly people of Beiral centre in Rangel district.
Maria das Neves de Sousa said so to the press during the socialisation meeting with elderly people at the Third Age Sheltering Home of Beiral, promoted by the ruling party’s women wing (OMA), in the ambit of the celebration of the African Women’s Day, being marked on Sunday 31 July.
She said that in Sao Tome and Principe, activities with elderly people have also been taking place under the responsibility of Santa Casa da Misericórdia centre, which helps very much old people in her country.
