Uche Agu to rock Independence Praize 2011

    Renowned Nigerian gospel artiste based in South Africa, Uche Agu is billed to rock Independence Praize 2011 scheduled to come off on March 7 at National Theatre.

    The award winning Best Gospel artiste in Africa who is widely known for his hit song Double Double (My God is good o) will make a special appearance at the event.

    Uche Agu is undoubtedly amongst the new breed of worship leaders that many say God is raising to bring forth revival and God’s glory to the present generation through worship.

    Aside music, he holds a Diploma in Theology from the World Harvest Theological College and presently leads worship at the renowned Alleluia Ministries International based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

    Independence Praise 2011 is the brain-child of CEO.COM (Christian Entertainment Organization) and it is part of activities to mark Ghana’s 54th Independence anniversary.

    According to organizers, it’s a special day which seeks to bring together men and women of God together to appreciate God with Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs and also to pray for a successful year with more peace and blessings for Ghana and Africa as a whole.

    The event which promises to be an awesome night of Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving will bring together the very best of Ghana’s Contemporary Gospel Ministers on one stage.

    Other renowned gospel artistes, Nii Okai, Ike Nanor, Kwesi Oteng, Celestine Donkor, Helen Yawson and Ola Dake are also billed to perform at the event.
