The Broadway musical FELA! , which depicts the life and music of Nigerian performer and political activist, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, will kick off in Lagos April 20.
The show, which will run till April 25, is scheduled for the Eko Hotel, Victoria Island.

The musical will star Sierra Leonean-American actor, Sahr Ngaujah, who plays Fela Kuti and music will be provided by the Antibalas, a Brooklyn-based Afrobeat band that is modelled after Fela Kuti’s Africa 70 band.
