2012 Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo

After President Atta Mills’ sterling performance last Friday when he met editors at the Castle, some NDC Activists are calling for Akufo-Addo, NPP Flagbearer, to also call a press conference and field serious questions if he thinks he really has the capacity to be a President of Ghana.
According to the activists, they are making their call because of all the empty noises that Akufo-Addo’s men have been making in the wake of President Atta Mills solid performance.
Speaking to The Ghanaian Lens, Sam Atiaka aka Dr. Fyfa, an NDC Activist in the La Dadekotopon Constituency, has questioned why Akufo-Addo is not talking and it is rather the likes of clownish Sir John aka Bob Okalla, and Samuel “Serial Liar” Jinapor, who are talking on behalf of the NPP Flagbearer.
Samuel Abu Jinapor has been christened “Serial Liar” because he has a penchant for telling extremely unintelligent lies and has been caught pants down on several occasions.
A classic case of Jinapor’s lying ways was when he lied on Radio Gold’s Alhaji & Alhaji programme last year saying that the Northern Regional NADMO Coordinator had run away to Mecca when there was flood in the North; only for the Coordinator to drive to Radio Gold and expose the heavy lie that Jinapor told. According to Dr. Fyfa, it is Akufo-Addo who is parading around as the President-in-waiting and so he is the one who must open his mouth and talk and not leave the talking to nonentities like Sir John and Abu Jinapor. According to Dr. Fyfa, Akufo-Addo’s stony silence is giving rise to speculation that the NPP Flagbearer is not healthy hence his ability to speak on behalf of the NPP.
Indeed, the NDC’s Ben Allotey Jacobs, alluded to the same ill-health speculation yesterday on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo Morning Show. “If Akufo-Addo is really healthy and strong, he should also hold a press conference and stand on his feet for 3hrs and answer all the questions that journalists will ask him” Dr. Fyfa said.
“If the NPP wants us to take them serious vis-à-vis all the noise they are making about some of the answers the President gave, then Akufo-Addo is the person we want to hear” Dr. Fyfa added.
“Sir John is a clown, and Samuel Jinapor has taken over from Kwamena Bartels as the NPP’s serial liar so no serious minded person is paying any attention to all their loose talk. Akufo-Addo must come out and talk if he thinks has the capacity to challenge President Mills.” Dr. Fyfa said.
According to the NDC Activist, Akufo-Addo should not organize a press conference and invite only Kwaku Baako, Randy Abbey, Alfred Ogbamey, and co; he must make sure that he invites the likes of Raymond Archer, Andy Kankam, Joojo Bruce-Quansah, Mike Dokorsi, Koby Fiagbe, Benjamin Essuman and co.
“If Akufo-Addo wants us to believe that he really has what it takes to walk in the shoes of President Atta Mills, he should make sure that comrade Kwesi Prat and co are invited to fire him questions” said Dr. Fyfa.
According to Dr. Fyfa, until Akufo-Addo is able to also put up a solid performance like President Atta Mills, he should stop wasting his time campaigning because there is no way Ghanaians will opt for Akufo-Addo in the stead of President Atta Mills.
Making his point further, Dr. Fyfa added that apart from inviting opposition media, Akufo-Addo should also guarantee their safety so his militants don’t beat up Kwesi Prat and co when they get up to ask critical questions. “President Mills, as a true democrat, ensured that Kwaku Baako and his ilk walked out of the Castle without a scratch; If Akufo-Addo also believes in free speech, when he organizes his press conference, he should make sure that Kwesi Prat, Raymond Archer, Koby Fiagbe and co do not get beaten to pulp by his cocaine-filled and wee-infested militants” Dr. Fyfa said.
As far as the verdict of the NDC Activist is concerned, Akufo-Addo does not have what it takes to organize a press conference, stand on his feet for close to 3hrs, and answer hard-hitting questions intelligently the way President Atta Mills did.
