Sevilla coach Gregorio Manzano has confessed that the club are actively seeking to secure a deal for Rosenborg midfielder Anthony Annan.
The former Mallorca boss is looking to be active in the winter market, and speculation has linked Los Nervionenses with a move for the Ghana international, who has been watched by a whole host of clubs, including the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Marseille.
Manzano told the media today that he was hopeful that a deal would be struck, and the player was interested, but that the clubs had not yet agreed terms.
He remarked: “All I can say is that until the last signature is fixed, everything else that is discussed is a lie. However, he [Annan] wants to come here, and that is very good, but what is needed is that he be allowed to reach an agreement with Sevilla.
