Ghana and Getafe midfielder Derek Boateng reveals playing in the prestigious English Premier League would be a dream come true, although he is content in La Liga.
“All good players would love to play in England and players in my position on the field are stars there, I like the physical part of football, so I would love to play there one day,” he said on tribalfootball.com.
Boateng is linked with a move to English side Tottenham.
“Tottenham? They are a fantastic team, White Hart Lane is a great stadium, so you never know, it would be fantastic. However, I am happy here in Getafe.
“I am playing at a good level at the moment, I am happy with my form and hopefully it will continue,” he said.
The Ghanaian moved to Spain last summer, just six months after he had signed for Cologne. He once came close to signing for Steve McClaren at Middlesbrough.
