Ghana won’t release Kwadwo Asamoah after Udinese shamelessly looked to chance on the terror attack at the Nations Cup and withdraw him.
The Italians like so many clubs in England who have never really liked the timing of the Nations Cup have seized on the attacks and demanded their players must return to club bases in the wake of the attack.
Udinese made the tasteless demand claiming they are looking out for not just Asamoah the player but Asamoah the man.
But that hasn’t moved Ghanaian authorities who have confirmed they will stay in Cabinda and play Togo on Monday.
“Yes, we would be ready for the game. The players have managed to overcome it and are going about their preparations.â€Â
