Georgina Heads Face Of Holland Judges TIC TAC’S manageress, Georgina Bimpong, of Kafina Management, will be one of the influential personality judges to steer this year edition of the prestigious Face Of Ghana, Holland pageant, slated for Saturday.

Speaking in a short telephone conversation with BEATWAVES on Tuesday from her London base, Georgina expressed enthusiasm, and revealed that the event, among other objectives, will open doors and provide career and education opportunities for contestants.

She however said she is not the only Ghanaian will grace the occasion. Ace broadcaster Jessica Opare-Saforo of Citi FM will also make a stop there as emcee.

Asem and Blakk Rasta, she noted, will also be holding it down on stage alongside other Holland-based musicians including Juju, a cute prince of dance hall in Holland.

Amsterdam City is thus gearing up for what the organizers have dubbed Amsterdam’s “Show of the Year 2009”, for the Ghanaian community particularly.

All roads will lead to the Ultra modern Bijlmer Sports Hall in the Amsterdam Southeast District for the event that promises to be not only spectacular but also a keen contest which will surely attract fun lovers from all walks of life.

The theme of the event is ‘Beauty with a Mission’.
Organized by Soulhour radio, in collaboration with the Face of Ghana Organization, the annual event is fully endorsed by the Embassy of the Republic of Ghana, The Hague.

It aims to showcase, principally, the abundantly rich cultures of Ghana and the striking beauty her maidens are endowed with.

The winner of the pageant will take home a cash prize of €2500, a camera and return ticket to Ghana.

The first runner-up will also receive a cash prize of €1800, plus an HDTV flat panel, while the third runner-up also gets €1000 and a brand new laptop. All eleven contestants are however undergoing various activities in preparation for the event.   

Lead sponsor of the event is Royal Air Maroc. Other sponsors are Africa Unique Travel, Afro Beauty Centre – Ganzenhoef, The African Bulletin, Colour Agency, Unity Money Services, etc.
