Pass out the blue cigars – Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel welcomed their first child on Wednesday, People.com reports.
The couple, who announced their pregnancy in March, welcomed son WalkerDiggs. “Mother, father and son are all doing well,” reps said in astatement.
Though the “Private Practice” actor had a few namesin mind, he said they were waiting to see the baby first before makinga final decision.
“We have a couple [of names] in the running,”the actor explained. “But part of us wants to see what he hits us withwhen we see him. We’ll see what he looks like.”
Diggs met theTony award-winning actress, both 38, in the original 1996 Broadwayproduction of “Rent.” They wed in January 2003.
