According to Express, Bundesliga outfit Koeln are closely monitoring the situation of highly rated midfielder Jose Sosa. The Argentinean playmaker currently plays for Bayern Munich.
The report suggests that the Geissbocke were already after Sosa’s signature in 2007. However, the midfielder opted to sign for German giants Bayern Munich instead.
Nevertheless, Sosa has failed to make an impact at the Bavarians ever since joining them. He has made only 32 league appearances so far, scoring two goals.
The attacking midfielder was on the verge of joining Palermo on loan this winter, but the transfer eventually collapsed for unknown reasons. Sosa is now expected to leave the club at the end of this campaign.
Koeln are in the market for a new playmaker due to the upcoming departure of Nemanja Vukicevic, who will leave the club on a Bosman move this summer.
