Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have received some good news from the treatment table. Highly rated attacker Miroslav Klose has returned to full match fitness after a spell on the sidelines.
The 30-year-old sustained an ankle injury in Bayern’s 3-0 home victory against Bochum about six weeks ago and the striker had been sidelined ever since due to the injury.
Bayern Munich have had trouble finding the net without the former Werder Bremen star, as the Bavarians usually opted to play with just one striker during Klose’s absence.
Italian hit man Luca Toni has expressed his dismay with this situation on several occasions and the former Fiorentina player will be delighted to see his partner in crime return to the pitch this weekend.
Bayern Munich face relegation candidates Energie Cottbus this Saturday and Klose will probably start the match from the bench after his six-week lay-off.
