Black Stars striker Junior Agogo is set for showdwon with Egyptian giants Zamalek after the club filed a complaint with Fifa to declare his contract null and void and claim compensation.
Three months ago, Agogo announced the abrogation of his contract with the Cairo-based side and also reported them to Fifa for a breach of contract.
Agogo claimed the club owed him five months salaries.
“We are seeking to rescind Agogo’s contract and reclaim his recent wages,” Zamalek marketing director Khaled Refaat told FilGoal.com.
“The club are also calling on FIFA to claim three millions Euros in compensation for his lack of commitment.”
Agogo had previously sounded his displeasure over the ‘unfair treatment’ he got over the past few months.
Zamalek’s officials said on numerous occasions the player has been undisciplined since joining the club in the summer from Nottingham Forest.
The 29-year-old has only featured for the White Knights in eight league games, and notched four goals.
