Wolfsburg Set To Make Frank Rijkaard Move

The Bundesliga table toppers are looking for a replacement for Felix MagathCurrent Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath appears to be on his way to Schalke 04 and the Wolfe are eager to appoint a high profile name as his replacement.

According to Wolfsburger Nachrichten, the Bundesliga table toppers are desperate to sign former Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard as their new head coach.

The report suggests that Rijkaard has already met with Wolfsburg representatives and that the deal could be sealed in the next couple of days.

Wolfsburg will face stiff competition for Rijkaard’s signature. He is also being touted as new manager at Chelsea, Milan, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

Wolfsburg are currently sitting at the top of the Bundesliga table with four matches remaining and qualification for next year’s Champions League appears to be all but confirmed.
