The Black Stars maintained its 39th place on the Fifa ranking released on Wednesday for the month of May.
In an inactive month, Ghana’s 779 points from the previous month also preserved its position as the third ranked nation on the continent.
Cameroon remains Africa’s top-rated national side followed by Nigeria in that order.
Reigning European champions Spain remain unchallenged at the top of the table with a comfortable lead, followed by Germany and the Netherlands.
Since the last edition of the world ranking, only 22 international matches have been played worldwide, 20 qualifying games for the AFC Challenge Cup 2010 and two friendlies in Africa.
