According to 4-4-2.com, French midfielder Benoit Pedretti is considering leaving his current club, Auxerre, this summer, in order to sign for a Bundesliga outfit.
The 28-year-old’s contract at Auxerre is set to run out and the holding midfielder has attracted the interest of several Bundesliga teams, such as Stuttgart, Bayern Munich, Hertha Berlin and Werder Bremen.
Additionally, the former Olympique Lyon starlet is also being closely monitored by European giants Arsenal, Juventus and Roma.
Pedretti has made it clear that he wants to join a bigger club, in order to boost his chances of returning to the French national team. The midfielder has made 22 international appearances so far.
He also stated that he wants to play Europa League football, at the very least, next term, but would prefer to join a Champions League contender.
The report suggest that Stuttgart are currently sitting in pole position to secure Pedretti’s services. The Schwaben are keen to add an extra midfielder to their squad, in order to fight for the Bundesliga title again next campaign.
