Kenyan football authorities have announced that the country’s team will train in Germany for two weeks beginning on May 18, following an arrangement facilitated by national team coach Antoine Hey.
This will be part of Kenya’s build-up for their World Cup tie away to Nigeria on June 7 in Abuja.
Also, as part of this preparation, Hey has called up a 23-man squad of mostly local-based players for training on Monday. Six of these men are based in Tanzania.
Two players from Kenyan champions Mathare United, Edgar Ochieng and Titus Mulama, have been recalled to the squad.
