Moses and Israel Foundation:Helping & Training The Youth In Ghana To Be Productive Citizens

Moses and Israel is a non profit organization established to help the Blind People, their children,less fortunate teenagers,high school dropouts,parentless children and abandoned youths in Ghana. We are a community base organization helping the youth in Ghana to become productive citizens. This Foundation was founded in Houston, Texas  and operates in Ghana since 2005.
This organization also helps  the orphans, parentless children, high school dropouts to find jobs. Places with infected aids children  in orphanages homes. We place youth and teens in job trainings such as tailoring,hairdressing, auto mechanics,masonry, carpentry, sheet metal and motor rewinding trainings.

Moses and Israel  helps stranded children to find accommodation, room and board in various neighborhoods in the city instead of being in the streets. This is a community job training organization helping the less fortunate Children and the youth to become good parents in the future. We  train them to be more resourceful and independent. We  also help these youths to get out of the streets from doing drugs, prostitution, pickpockets and armed robbery.

GHANA YOUTH JOB TRAINING CORPS PURPOSE

(1) We  put the youth, in Ghana Youth Job Training corps- training.
(2) We access each youth’s potential and place him/her in the right training   program.
(3) We pay full TUITION for the trainees.

This program administered by the Moses and Israel Foundation, a Non Profit organization based in United States. It serves youth, ages 16 through 24.Ghana Job Training Corps offers career planning, on-the-job training, job placement, residential housing, food service, driver’s education, health and dental care,  and clothing allowance.Eventually, we might add some more programs.

Since its creation in 2005, MIF Ghana Youth Job training Corps has provided more than forty young people with the integrated academic, vocational, and social experience training they need to gain independence and get quality long-term jobs, or further their education. Ghana Youth Job Training Corps will continue to help 1,000 youths annually at ten Ghana Youth Job Training Corps Centers throughout the country.
Besides vocational training, all Ghana Youth Job Training Corps centers will also try to offer High school drop outs programs, as well as high school diplomas and programs to get students into work force. Ghana Youth Job Training Corps will provide career counseling and transition support to its students for at least  up to one year after they graduate from the program.

2.  GHANA YOUTH JOB TRAINING CORP MISSION STATEMENT IS:
Attract eligible young/youth people.
Teach them the skills they need to become employable and independent, and
Place them in meaningful jobs or further education.
3. Eligibility
To enroll in Ghana Youth Job Training Corps, students must meet the following requirements
Be between the age of 14 and 22
Be a Ghanaian  citizen or legal resident or must have a legal status
Meet income requirements
Be ready, willing, and able to participate fully in an educational environment.
If under the age of 18 and have a child, the student is eligible  but must find a way to get assistance to start program.
In order to stay in the program, one must not violate the Zero Tolerance Policy, which includes not being arrested for felonies, failing drug tests, fighting, robbery, or sexual assault of a criminal nature.

6.  Moses and Israel Foundation as National career youth development program and  career youth finders, been able to place almost about  forty youths in various job trainings.We are asking Ghanaians and other donators to help us take more youths from the streets and place them in job trainings for a ONE TIME fee of  TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS per child for the entire training. Most of the training  takes three years. The amount can be instalment payments.
