Mali demand big bonus

KanoutePlayers of Mali have told their country’s Football Federation to reward them with US$ 96,000 each(50 million Francs CFA) if they qualify to the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.

The players have also demanded that their winning bonus be doubled for the final round of the World Cup qualifying tournament.

Mali are in the same Group with Ghana and began their campaign with a one-all draw at the Sudan and were paid bonuses in a region of US$ 86,000.

The amount included the 22-man squad and the technical team and the amount could have soared to US$ 182,000 if they had won.
 
The Eagles play Ghana in Bamako on 6 June when the qualifiers resume.
