‘We Are Ready For Valentine Concert’

PrayeAs part of activities marking this year’s Valentine’s Day, Ghana’s leading hiplife trio Praye of ‘Angelina’ fame have promised to use the occasion to entertain fans at the National Theatre in Accra on Saturday February 14.

Ghana’s hot music performers will be backed by 15 bandsmen who would mount a 20-by-10-foot stage to blast good rhythms and captivating lyrics through huge loudspeakers.

The management of Praye told BEATWAVES yesterday: “We are ready for a real showdown and will thrill our fans with all our hit songs.

“On Saturday we will satisfy music fans who will be at the National Theatre to witness our fireworks on stage. We will perform to the satisfaction of all”.

Praye will prove to the crowd why they won the Hiplife Album of the Year in 2008. They will rock the crowd hard and smooth with their rousing stagecraft.

A leading member of the management team further told BEATWAVES that currently the group is seriously rehearsing and would compete with Kojo Antwi and Abratie Amakye Dede who are also on the bill.

Praye hinted that they are ready to so electrify music lovers, who probably might have come from their various homes to see them on stage, adding that they would make fans hit the dance floor and shake themselves down to the beats and sounds.

Although much has not been heard from the camps of Amakye Dede and Kojo Antwi, music fans believe that the two seasoned highlife music stars would not have it easy with Praye on the bill.

The event which is expected to attract thousands of music lovers from all walks of life is being organized by Madon Entertainment.
