The Washington Post has reported that Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy have inquired about Ghana captain Stephen Appiah.
However, the club concluded that it cannot compete financially for a player who has drawn interest from Spurs and other European teams, including Russian champion Rubin Kazan.
Dallas and D.C United expressed interest in Appiah earlier this winter.
The 28-year-old former Juventus player is expected to lead the Black Stars on Wednesday’s international friendly against Egypt.
It was also rumoured that Appiah would be snapped up by Arsenals after a move to Tottenham Hotspurs seems to be hanging by a thread.
