With the transfer window poised to shut, the Bundesliga has witnessed something of a transfer sensation with news coming through that Bayern Munich starlet Toni Kroos has joined Bayer Leverkusen on loan.
It has been revealed in Germany that 19-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has joined Bundesliga rivals Bayer Leverkusen until 30th June 2010 on a loan basis, according to fifa.com.
The news of the loan move has finally put an end to constant speculation regarding the immediate future of the super talent. The midfielder, who has struggled for game-time under Jürgen Klinsmann will now try his luck at Leverkusen. ÂÂ
Kroos has been limited to just seven appearances this season for the Bavarians after being handed his chances in the first team last season by Ottmar Hitzfeld. ÂÂ
Like Lukas Podolski, Kroos has been increasingly despondent over his lack of opportunities at the Allianz Arena and his father even went public over their dissatisfaction over the lack of playing time.  ÂÂ
