Ghana’s Under-20 team will face South Africa’s Amajitas in the semi-finals at the Africa Youth Championship in Rwanda on Wednesday.
The Black Satellites gained top spot in Group A after a 0-2 victory over the host nation on Saturday and will play the swift South Africans who beat much-fancied Nigeria 2-1 in the Group stage.
South Africa placed second in Group B to Nigeria after they were beaten 2-1 by Egypt on Sunday in the final Group match.
But the Amajitas advanced on better goal difference over the Young Pharaohs who were also tied on six points.
There’s another blockbuster fixture between Nigeria and Cameroon in the other semi-final clash.
The four semi-finalists will represent Africa at the Fifa World Youth Championship to be held in Egypt in September this year.
