Reading midfielder Kalifa Cisse has signed a new contract to keep him at the Madejski Stadium until 2011.
The 25-year-old Mali international joined the Royals from Boavista in 2007 and has scored five goals in 25 appearances so far this season.
“He made a big transition when moving here from Portugal,” director Nick Hammond told the club’s website.
“Kalifa is now settled here and he deserves his new deal. He is a fantastic personality to have around.”
