Tema Youth chase Duncan

Duncan is ready to take the challengeFormer Free State Stars coach David Duncan has admitted holding talks with Tema Youth to replace Isaac Opeele Boateng who quit the club on Wednesday.

Duncan quit the South Africa Premier Soccer League side in August last year over the appointment of techical director Owen Da Gama.

The former AshantiGold coach loves to take on the challenge at Tema-based side which are second on the league table.

“I would love to return to  Tema because that was where I begun my playing career with Afienya United but there’s nothing concrete yet,” Duncan told Ghanasoccernet.com

According to the management of Tema Youth, Duncan’s credentials makes him a top-notch coach to steer their impressive start in the league.

” He has been on the local scene for quiet a long time, he knows the terrain very well and he’ll not be a stranger so far as the league is concerned,” CEO Winfred Osei-Parma told Ghanasoccernet.com

” He has been monitoring the system through the GBS system:he has been making commentary so he knows most of the sides that are competing and I think he has a fair idea.”

Tema Youth have also contacted former Hasaacas boss Joseph DeGraft who last handled Great Olympics for the interim.
