The Accra audition for this year’s Miss Valentine slated for February 14 will take place at the La Palm Hotel on Saturday, January 17 at 10am.
The audition will take place in four regional capitals – Accra, Kumasi, Cape Coast and Takoradi – where five pretty girls between the ages of 18 and 25 would be selected from each region. The girls would be housed for two weeks to be groomed for the grand finale.
This year’s event which is the first of its kind is designed to bring friends and loved ones and the nation as a whole together and to acknowledge the fact that Ghanaians are one people with a common destiny.
It would also give all the contestants the opportunity to explore their hidden talents during and after the event.
According to the organisers, Sound TV Multimedia, the objective of the event is to promote unity, peace and understanding through entertainment as well as create a platform to raise issues that are relevant to the creation of a healthy society.
The event would as well inspire the youth to identify a need in the society and gather resources to help meet those needs.
