Information reaching DAILY GUIDE SPORTS indicates that Black Stars
striker, Prince Tagoe could be heading for the Serie ‘A’ as two Italian
clubs have shown interest in him.
Genoa and Atlanta are said to
be interested in the 23-year-old striker who won the goal-king award
with his club Al Ittifaq in the just-ended Saudi Arabian League, and
both have expressed their readiness to prise away the hit man with $1.5
million.
Though his Saudi club is asking for not less than $3
million transfer, Tagoe is relishing a move to one of the best leagues
in the world in order to cement a permanent place in the present Black
Stars team.
His agent is also said to be in talks with his
club so as to reduce the transfer money to enable Tagoe move away from
Saudi Arabia.
Tagoe, the former Black Meteors lead striker was
recalled into the Black Stars after two years’ absence due to injury to
NAC Breda of Holland’s Matthew Amoah.
He got the Black Stars
first goal in the beginning of the 2010 Africa Nations/World Cup
qualifying series against Libya in Kumasi some two weeks ago.
