Nooooo! Dawson’s Creek Creator Kevin Williamson Says There Will NOT Be A Reunion Movie! Sadness!

dawsons creek reunion not happening

Looks like everyone who dreams of returning to Capeside will never see their dreams come true!

SUCH SADNESS!

The creator of Dawson’s Creek, Kevin Williamson, has squashed the rumors of a possible reunion movie happening.

But…but… but.. we were so hoping to see Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson, & Michelle Williams together again!

Well, kind of, since *SPOILER ALERT* Jen died at the end of the series!

But, Kevin objects to the idea of a reunion because he feels the whole series was a complete story in itself!

He said:

“We joked about it then: “What’s gonna happen if we do the reunion movie? Jen’s dead.” “Well, she’ll be in heaven narrating the whole story.” But ultimately, I don’t want to see it. I want it to be that little piece of the ’90s that’s forever in its proper place.

And it was a complete story. I know how everyone ended up because of the five-year push in the finale. I love that there are so many people out there that would love to see a reunion. I love that it has a life that has gone on and on beyond its initial run. But I like how we ended it.

Well, YEAH, sure we know what happened to everyone and the series wrapped up nicely and all…

BUT COME ON! A reunion movie would be AH-MAZING! It doesn’t even have to create new stories for the characters!

We’re sure fans would be happy just to see what the their favorites from Capeside are up to nowadays and having Jen narrate would be FANTASTIC!

We reaaaalllllly feel like you should rethink this whole decision!
