This is definitely one of the craziest stories I’ve heard all week. A convicted felon broke inoto a Chicago home, defiled a 4-year-old girl while other people were inside the house.

After he was done rapping the little girl, he went into a closet and started smoking a blunt.
He was trying to get the 4-year-old and her older sister to come across the street to him when they were outside playing games.

The little girls were smart enough to enough his request and ran inside the house to lock the doors.

He then walked over to their house and started banging on the door, requesting for the girls to let him inside.

Witnesses saw him go across the street before he decided to break inside the house.
Once he broke inside the house, he ordered all of the older people to evacuate the home.
He then took the young girl inside of a bedroom and began to r*pe her.
The witness who was demanded to leave the room call 911.
When the authorities arrived, they found Campbell smoking a blunt inside a closet.
Judge Edward Bowden ordered Campbell, who is charged with predatory criminal s*xual assault and home invasion, held without bond Wednesday at the Markham courthouse, according to court records.

Bowden also ordered Campbell to undergo psychiatric evaluation.

Campbell had been in and out of foster homes since he was taken away from his mother when he was 8, Campbell’s grandfather Charles Campbell said Thursday.
And Demetrio Campbell suffers from “mental problems,” the older Campbell said.
“His mind is not too good. . . . He just talks crazy,” Charles Campbell said.
Charles Campbell said he last saw his grandson a few weeks ago when he came to pick up his mail at the elderly man’s Blue Island apartment.
He used to lived with his grandfather, but relatives believe Demetrio Campbell was currently staying with a girlfriend in either the Roseland neighborhood or Calumet Park, the south suburb where the attack occurred.
Despite his troubles with the law, Demetrio Campbell’s family didn’t think he was capable of sexually assaulting a little girl.
“Something must have snapped,” Charles Campbell said.
Demetrio Campbell’s aunt Felicia Grinnage said she was startled by the allegations.
“I can’t believe it,” she said.
Demetrio Campbell was sentenced to six years in prison for aggravated robbery in 2004. He was sentenced to four years in prison in 2008 for residential burglary.
