The World-Meets-In-Ghana Investors Forum and Executive Dinner Ball aimed at offering local investors and business owners a golden opportunity to network with investors across the world comes off on 17 th October, 2014 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

The event is being organised by EON 3 Company Limited, a business solutions provision company in Ghana, in collaboration with Turkish-EXIM Bank, Ministry of Private Sector Development, Ghana Chamber of Commerce & Industry and also the International Chamber of Commerce Ghana.

Richard Adjei Mensah Ofori Atta, Executive Director of E ON 3 Company, in a press release, indicated that the forum seeks to share Ghana’s tremendous investment opportunities with investors, create a platform of engagement between investors around the world and local business people and project Ghana and its valuable resources to foreign investors.

Also, he said the forum seeks to highlight promising areas of the Ghanaian economy to the world while it creates networking opportunities between businesses, investors and Government representatives.

Turkish EXIM Bank and other EXIM Banks’ officials from selected countries are scheduled to use the platform to articulate their mission and vision statement as regards the policies of the bank and thoroughly educate participants about credit opportunities and what can be done to solicit financial support from the Exim banks.

The event organizers have began talking to some high-level international investors in   the construction, agriculture, agro-processing, automobiles, project finance, banking, tourism development, mining and quarrying and oil and gas sectors.

Other areas are the real estate, healthcare, energy, telecommunications, aviation and education.

This historic programme is being held under the distinguished patronage of Ghana Investments Promotion Centre, the Heritage and Investment Fund of Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll, East Heritage Holding and Globa Company, as well as some top executives and businessmen across the world.

Dr. Sir Samuel Jonah, Founder and Chairman of Jonah Capital will chair the occasion.

Former President John Agyekum Kufour will speak on the topic: ‘Ghana- the best place to make your first million dollars and how.’

Also billed to speak is Rashid Pelpuo, Minister for Private Sector Development who will touch on ‘The Peace dividend in the search for foreign direct investment and accelerated development in Ghana’ and also Seth Adjei Baah, President of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce.

According to the organizers, this year’s event is being organized based on the positive results that emanated from the 2012 event.

The 2012 event was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi and organised by E ON 3 Company with the implementing partners being the Turkish Exim bank, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Ministry of Trade and Industry and the E ON 3 Ghana Turkey Business caucus.

In 2012, the participants had the privilege of paying a courtesy call of the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom on 30 th September 2012 where the former Turkish ambassador briefed the Asantehene about the opportunities that investors from turkey have brought to Ghana.

‘As a result of this achievement, we are expanding our territory to bring in more well-meaning international investors to network and increase business development and expansion drives in Ghana,’ said Richard Adjei Mensah Ofori Atta.
