Kwesi Pratt revealed that as part of the Bui hydroelectric project, there was a proposal to build a Bui City in which a Golf Park was envisaged.
“This is a plan the NPP itself adopted. The Bui City project! And this is what they chanced upon and decided to flag it all over the place. This is incredible,” he bewailed.
At the same press conference, the Minority in Parliament said the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) is also spending $63,000 a month as rent for offices at East Legon.
The Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper questioned why the NPA would misuse the hard-earned money of tax payers at a time when the country is in economic crisis.
According to him, there cannot be any excuse for the wastage of public funds, noting that the NPA can build offices within six months if it has the aforementioned amount to rent plush offices.
Kwesi Pratt Junior spoke on Radio Gold’s current affairs programme, Alhaji and Alhaji with Alhassan Suhuyini, Saturday.
