We Want To Win The League..

The Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Neil Armstrong Mortagbe insists his side is still focused on winning the First Capital Plus Premier League despite the ten gab between them and their perennial rivals Asante Kotoko.

He told GNA Sports that the players are well prepared to beat Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday to keep the chase on Kotoko.

‘He said ‘We played Aduana last week and with the results, I think the club is well prepared and ready to face Ebusua Dwarfs.
“We are focused on wining every game. We hope to win the league this season or next season. If we do not win, it is not a failure, first or second is an improvement upon last season where we placed fifth”.

Meanwhile, Mortagbe admonished media houses to stay away from false stories leveled against the club and check their facts before stories are published.

He added that lies and negative news do not speak well of the club and the media.“Fabrications provoke our supporters, so those media houses must put a stop to it and let us help to improve because this will tarnish the image of the club and the media house as well’’.

Hearts are currently sitting in the second position behind Kotoko.
