Video: Chelsea Star Atsu Finally Makes Vitesse Debut, Impresses With Goal Assist

Chelsea winger Christian Atsu finally made his debut for Dutch side Vitesse on Sunday and impressed as he set up the consolation goal in their 2-1 defeat to Feyenoord.
The Ghana international, who is on loan from Chelsea, came on as a substitute and made an instant impact by crossing in for Havenaar to head in the consolation.
His return to playing time at club level is a massive boost for Ghana as they prepare to take on Egypt in the World Cup playoff in Kumasi next week.
Atsu, whose debut for Vitesse was delayed because of work permit problems, came on for Van der Struijk in the 77th minute and set up the consolation goal six minutes later.
The 21-year-old moved to the Premier League from FC Porto this summer, but was immediately sent to the Eredivisie to continue his development with the opportunity for regular first-team football.
The Eredivisie club took Atsu on a season-long loan from English giants Chelsea and coach Peter Bosz has been looking forward to fielding him in first team action.
With this performance the Ghanaian could be recalled by Chelsea from the loan deal at Vitesse to enable the Blues build their squad.
Atsu was bought by Chelsea from Portuguese champions FC Porto earlier this summer, but instantly loaned to Vitesse, with who the Blues have a partnership, upon arriving at Stamford Bridge.
The 21-year-old has won 16 caps for Ghana at international level, scoring three goals.
