Uche Iwuanyanwu, an upcoming actress who is fast plying her trade in the big leagues, is among the cast of Ghanaian comedy ‘Cheaters’.
The beautiful actress has not been in the country for a while and only resurfaced in Accra, Ghana penultimate Friday at the première of a movie “Cheaters”.
The Ghanaian movie, directed by Frank Rajah, was premièred at the Silverbird Cinema Halls in Accra. Uche, who is like a Nigerian representative on the cast, is starred alongside other big Ghanaian stars like Chichi Neblett,Henry A. Asiedu , Adjetey Anang, Omar Sherrif Captan and others.
The première was a star-studded affair which attracted an encouraging patronage. The two halls of the Silverbird Cinema were said to be filled up long before the show even began. Present at the ceremony sponsored by Baileys were top actors Yvonne Nelson, Jackie Appiah,John Dumelo, Gloria Sarfo, Roselyn Ngissah, Kweku Elliot, Nollywood’s Bobby Obodo, David Oscar and a host of others.
‘Cheaters’ is described as the next romantic comedy to rock the movie scene. It follows the stories of several young couples caught up in a web of love, lies and extramarital affairs. It throws more light on the assumption that marriage is the only war in which one sleeps with the enemy. If the couple is inseparable, it usually takes five people to separate it and ‘Cheaters’ reflects just that. In this film love is portrayed as a mysterious adventure that takes one through many twists and turns.
One adds a bit of infidelity to the mix and he or she has the perfect recipe for disaster.
