Tickets for the much anticipated 2013 Adom Praiz concert will go on sale from Wednesday, July 17, organizers of the concert have announced.

This year’s concert, which comes off at the 14,000-seater capacity Perez Dome in Accra, will be headlined by Grammy Award winning gospel muscian Kirk Franklin.

The award winning concert has over the years hosted some of the world’s biggest names when it comes to gospel music including CeCe Winans and Ron Kenoly and this year’s show would be no exception.

Come August 8, Kirk Franklin will be joined by some of the country’s hottest gospel acts including Cwesi Oteng, Cecelia Marfo and Ohemaa Mercy to give Ghanaians what is projected to be the biggest night in gospel music in Ghana.

Organizers say the tickets – GH¢30 (Regular) and GH¢50 (VIP) – have been strategically priced to afford Ghanaians the opportunity to be a part of music history.

An eager Kirk Franklin told Bola Ray on Drive Time on Joy FM last week that: ‘You have no idea I’m so excited. I was in Ghana before and I just can’t wait to come back. The people were beautiful, their spirit was beautiful, their service was beautiful and I can’t wait to get back and just kiss the ground that I come from and to celebrate with the people, the goodness of God,’ he disclosed.

According to the Imagine Me hit singer, he is ‘going to try to do 20 years of music in one night. Ghana can expect 20 years of music in one night,’ adding that he is ‘very passionate about coming.’

Organizers are urging the general public to take advantage of this rare opportunity to be a part of a concert of a lifetime.
